The following private telegram from Messrs Berry, Barclay, and Co., of London, has been received m Christchurch with regard to the English grain market : — " Fair average quality New Zealand wheat, at Mark Lane, per quarter (4961 b), ex granary, 40s, with downward tendency. Market is affected by large supplies, and by lower prices m America."
