(fjeb frsss association.) Ghristchuroh, January 26. The interprovinciai cricket match resulted m a victory for Canterbury by an innings and 126 runs. Canterbury's first inuings was resumed at 10 30 a.m Fowke and Halley, the two not-out men, raised their scores to }4 and 22, rejpectively, before Fowke waa caught by Bell The inniogs dosed for 373. The Otago Eleven collapsed m the first innings, putting together only 47 before the bowling of Haley and Labatt. The former took 5 wickets for 29. The Canterbury fielding was very good. In (heir second ioiiiugs the vieito.B did better. Harper's 69 was got by plucky yefc stesdy play. Austin and Parker also played with great judgment. The Canterbury bowling and fie'ding were inferior to what they bad been m the morning, the men being evidently effected by the heat of the weather Cuff took 4 wickets for 40, Studholma and Marshall each 2 for 23.
