CLERGUMEN IN THE COLONIES.
(PBB PBKBS ASSOCIATION.; London, January 19 It is reported that at a private gathering of colonial bishops after the Lambeth Conference, loud complaints were heard of the way m which the Roman Catholic Church is increasing m influence m the colonies. This was attributed by some speakers to the fact that many of the Anglican clergymen are milksops, or men ot small intellectual calibre, quite unfitted for the positions they. hold.
