THE REBELLION IN HAYTI.
BERIOUB DEFEAT OF THE BfcBELS. £*£3L (nre Mass association.) Port Au Prince, January 10. General Hyppolyte, leader of the insurgents, defeated the troops of the Gorernment of Hayti, under General Legitine, three times. A state of anarchy prevailed for some time, but at length the Government troops rallied once more, and again attacked the rebels, A decisive engagement took place, m which hundreds were killed and wounded on each side. In the end the rebels were defeated, and General Hyppolyte, their leader, was captured and shot.
