HORSE MARKET
Mr T. Bullock reports for the week ending Saturday, January sth : -There wm a very large entry of horses, viz., 51, and about an average attendance of farmers and other country settlers.. There is no doubt that a larga proportion of the, horses offered lately have been of an Inferior description and the reserves placed upon them have been excessive, otherwise more would have been cold. If sellers were to Vsit cthar o arketa they would see for -themselves that they are not worth the trices they expect to obtain hore; Out of the day's entry of 51 only 12 were sold at the following prices, ™i™*°f™ draughts, 4 and 5 -year-olds, £15 ss, £17 10s and £21 10s : 3-year-old, rather hght SilftTtgea, & «K £11 16-, £10 and £15 according to description ; naclw, ±,4 10a and £7 15s with little demand, and no tujew for light harness horses ETOi>iflEß —Horse buggy and harness, broagbt £17 ss.
