A CHRISTMAS SONG.

(by the editob.) Weloome happy Christmas I Joyous, blessed time — Christmas, drowned with roses Of our Southern clime. Weloome, aye as weloome Aa when long ago Hollyberries glinted Bright amid the snow. There the ample Yule-log Glows with oheery blaee • Here the glorious sunshine Fills ths joound days. 1 There the leafless branohos Thiok with frosty rime, Mere the fruits and flowers Of the summer-time. Here the waving harvest Clothing valo and hill, With the song of skylarks All the air a-thrfll. Brighter, fairer Christmas Than when years ago Sang the " Waitß " a weloome Mid the winter's snow. I All among the rosea I Chrißtmas young and fair Weloome still, thrioe weloome, Welcome here as tliert. For though garb and season Vary with the clime, Benison unohanging Bringeth Christmas time. Benison of Heaven Unto all the Earth, As when first the angels Hymned a Savior's birth. And the sweet evangol Comeß with promise still, «« Peace of God " proclaiming «' Unto men goodwill,'* Promise that fulfilment, Hath m hearts that love, Yot whose full fruition Waiteth us above. Till God'B full redemption Crowning blessing brings In the golden roon Of the King of Kings.
