ELECTION.
The'"election for Stockton-on-Tees' seat m the House of Commons, rendered vacant through the resignation of Mr Joseph Dodds, took place to-day, when Sir Horace Davey, a Gladstone Liberal, was returned by a majority of 395 over the Unionist candidate.
