Wellington, December II. 1 The Publfo Woika Department ban received notice from Mr Martin, Government Besldenfc-Eoglnacr at Greymonth, that he bad ( fficlally impeded the Bf ctlon of the Midland railway from Brunnertoo to Nelson Creek, a distance of about nine miles, and certified it ready for traffic. It now rests with the Midland Rai way Company to ask ihe formal permission of Government when the line can be üßed.
