ENGLISH CONTROL OF INDIA.
Calcutta, December 3 Lord Dufferin, Viceroy of India, administered a sharp rebuke to the Native Congress, which has been agitating for the autonomy of India. He told the members plainly that England would never give up supreme control of the country.
