MR REES'S SCHEME.
OPINION OP THE NEW ZEA LAND GOVERNMENT. (per press as-ooiation.) London, November 28. In the House of Commons to-day Baron de W^orms denied that Lord Knutsfnrd and the Marquis of Lothian had approved of Mr VV". L, Rees's colonisation scheme. He rfdded that the New Zealand Government had sent a cable message to the Imperial Government to the effect that the figures mentioned m Mr Rees's proposal were entirely misleading.
