THE WHITECHAPEL MURDERS.

Theso 1 decoye,' it is thought, may be a le m ' time to meet tne fiend, and then if ho attempted any of his peculiar tactics they ' could fire upon him, bo as to lead to his arrest. I hear on very good authority that several young medical students, prompted by the spirit of adventure so [ Btrong m this clasß, as well as for tho ; substantial reward offered, have for ; several nights past promenaded the above localities, thoroughly well difguiaed and I above all well armed, but at iho time of writing, beyond ordinary adventures, they have not had much success. The theory that wild harum-scarum medical students were hoaxing tho public by thus disposing of female ' tubjectp/ is exploded by the fact that m almost each case the victim has been identified.'
