FIRE AT ROTORUA.

Wbmjngtom, November 24. The Secretary of the (General Post Office has received a telegram otating that the Rotoraa Sanatorium was totally destroyed by 6re at balf-psst ten last night. No llvea loat. _ Later. The Government have reoelved the following telegram from Dr Glnders, medfoal offioer la charge at Rotorna. "Sanatorium building and Maori hospital totally destroyed by fire last night at 10.30— Patienta all right. Nothing saved oat of buildings. Doctor's hoaso and bine bath uninsured. Fire originated In kitchen. Oauße unknown at present. Strong southerly gale spread fire with Immense rapidity." Auckland, November 24. The "Star's" correspondent states that by the burning of the Rotoraa hnapUal last night, the Government loses £6000. The patient were rescued with difficulty. One man broke his leg m escaping.
