Wheat Is steady and firm at om quotations. Batter has hardened and is being taken up freely for the Sydney market. Freights for that port have been vety scarce, but the Union Company are making efforts to meet their olleots besides several] sailers have been taken op »t moderate freights. Welcome rains on Thursday will improve oar next year's prospects and our outlook ii certainly promising, ' Wheat.— Taaoan Is firm at 4s 2d to 4s 3d ; pearl and hunters are also In good i demand at 4« to 4» 2d ; seoond quality is ictroe at 3i 93 to 4s ; and broken wheat commands. 3s to 3i 6d. Oats.— Milling are la strong demand at 2j 9i to 2s lOd ; long and inferior kinds vary from 2s 6d to 2s Bd. BABLRY.—Very little offering prices being nominally, 4s for prime mrltng, 3i 6d me<Uam, and 3s for feed, Bbans 3j 6d with few offering. Peas, 3s Gbass Sbed,- No enquiry, quotation same &• last week. Potatobs —No Sellers at £5 at oountrv station.; ££8 Dairy Pboduob,— Prime butter, 8d lo 9d ; second quality, 6d, with good demand. Gheeae, Btsady at sd. The above prices are those paid to farmers for delivery, f.o.b. Sack* extra.
