The sentences are onmnlatfoe. He will be ! brought before the Xaiapoi Ooart on the charge of the Mandevllle Hotel burglary to-morrow, and before the Lytteltqn Oourt •n Thursday He made no defenoe, bat •aid that the first time he eso»ped the warder left the door open after patting his tea into his cell. The second time he had told the gaoler he intended to esoape, and did ao jast to show that he coald. A luge crowd atsembled m the courthouse to aertbe prisoner.
