Eaoh display was .very fine indeed, and shoved whit eucoees has been achieved In the colony m the mannfaotura of woolleu g"6ods. The Aahbnrton, KaUpol, Mooglel, and other factories Ware represented, . The Jadg-aa oonaldorlng that the display i were equal m point of excellence, made no award. The Ashburton Woollen Factory had a fine Bhow of their goods for oxtiibf* tion only. Every one who saw the dliplay made by the looal faotory m tweedi, blankets, fhnnela, tartans, etc., maat admit that they eonld not well he exoelled, the quality and appearance leaving notalng to be desired. Mr J. 0. N. Origg showed nnglazad pipes and brloka ibtids at the LoDgbetch works, whloh were of excellent quality, and Mr. G. Jameson had a collection of pipes manaf«otared by Messrs Ford and Ogden at Malrern. There were three entries for Mr G. M. Brooke'B special prlz3 for the beat home made aoap, and the prfza wai awarded to Mm A, Dawaon. : p
