Patrick Graoe reextrained by Mr Purnoll deposed thot at Maronnn his brother worked for bim on a gorae cutting contraot. The reason he did not oontraot for the Lowoliffe work himself was not beoause he had filed after the Maronan work wan done. The reason why he left off work at Lowoliffe was beoauee he took aiok. His brother gave him £2 for Qtorea, and with it he bought potatoes and onions, and a ticket for a consultation In Sydney —Mr Purnell opened his oaße at some lengh and called M. Graoe who gave evidence renptoting the contraot and stores In dispute.
