Wellington, November 1. The Government have received a cablegram from the Colonial Office stating that Her Majesty will be recommended to assent to th* Governor's Salary Bill. The Revenue. The Oaatoma reveuue collected In tj|e oolony for the month just expired fo £124 285 ns against £124,209 collected m Oo.ober last year. For sevan moo'hs of the financial year the total ia £808,672 being £75,078 nnder tho Colonial Treasurer's estimate for that period. The beer duty for last month was £4536 against £4155 for the corresponding month last year. This shows a deficit of £2749 as compared with the estimate for the seven months. Heavy Snowfall.
