On Saturday afternoon William Mo-> Lauohlan, residing at St. John's Wood, North-eaat Valley, committed suicide by banging himself. While his ffife waa absent he appears to have thrown a rope over the parlor door and miking a noose on the other side banged himself. He «vaa ia very well to do ciroumatanceF, owning -a good deal of property -at Pore ; Chalmers, but he had suffered some losses, and these have worried him greatly: He leaves a wife and three children.
