Sheep : There was about the netnl supply of sheep we have been ecouatomed o for some weeks* Prime fat sheep m the yards were comparatively few and fetohed, although the market for them was certainly easier, about the same sb last week. Seobnd rate sheep were not m great demand and suff jted a marked drop, bat shorn sheep, especially if at all good, maintained previous rates. Prime mutton In the wool may therefore be quoted at 3d per lb, with lower quotations of oourse for other qualities. Store sheep : quite a largo number of store sheep were penned and fetched good prices ; crossbred hoggets at 8a 9d to lla 4d ; crossbred ewaa with lambs to 14* 3d ; purebred southdown ewes and lambs at 20a per couple. Fat lambs : The entry to-day of fat lambs was tho largest of the season. Lines of fat lambs sold at from 5a to 9 6d per head. Pigs : A fair entry and a good demand. Best pork waa worth 3£d per lb.
