Wellington, Ootober 18 Following is a return of tha Customs revenue during the quarter ended 30th September, 1888 : —Total revenue from a 1 ports, £359,233, as compared with €324,707 for the corresponding quarter last year. Auckland, £82 034 ; "Welling ton, £54,538 ; Lyttelton, £56 831 ; Dunedin, £88,746. The primage amounted to £14,463 for al) ports.
The revenue collected by the Post office for the quarter end'd 30th September, 1888, is as 'follows: — Postal revenue, £48,293, as compared with £46,670 for the con^ponding qaarter of 1887 ; telegraph r.'venne, £25,133, as compared with £22,870 The valuo of Qovernmens teles rams was £5110, as compared with £10,605. ..
