Messrs Qoldabrough and O?. report, under date October 3:— Milling wheat bai improved, owing to the upward movement m the Home market. For oats a good demand still exists, and as only ■mall supplies are coming forward, prices ■re kept steady. Large quantities of maize oontinue to arrive, and as the demand has slackened, ratea are easier. Owing to the effeofc of the late rain?, ban and pollard have deolined ooDsiderably. We quote :— Milling Wheat -4s 83, Cfiokteed— 3» to 3* 3d. Oats -Milling 2a 83, medium 2s 7d, Inferior 2. 6d.
