PBR PBESS ABSOOIATIOW.J London, October 15. .Six thousand quarters of Australian wheat, October-November shipment, sold at 43 s. An Adelaide cargo sold at 41s 10£ d.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company," Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office, dated October 15th:—
Wheat — The market has a slightly downward tendency. There is no speculative demand for Colonial wheat.
Tallow — Fine and inferior beef tallow has advanced 6d per cwt since last report.
Frozen meat — Market quiet. Wellington and Canterbury frozen mutton is worth 5d and s£d per lb respectively. Hemp — The market is strong for New Zealand hemp,
