GAS FROM COCOANUTS.

Messrs James Hale and ThoinM Smale Hooper, of Sydney, have lately obtained letters patent m connection with a new gas Industry < ; their ioWtlqn being to produce gas from ODobanatjCocoauut shell, osndle nnfc, and other ga.i prodnolng shells. There will also be used m oannaotlon with the prooeas compressed ferns, borrawangs, turpentine aorab and tree. all of which are obtainable either In the colony or m the surrounding islands.
