The following is tho Corn Exchange report for tho week ending Friday, October sth, 1888:Transaotione m wheat during the week have been on a moderate scale no speoial enquiries for lines of any magnitude being noted, although prioes are firmly maintained on the baßts of laßt week's quotations, this, no doubt, is the result of stocks beooming more attenuated. Oats remain firm, and Boveral large parcels have changed hands at satisfactory rates to holders. Other lines of produoo are unmarked by anything of a decided character, and our quotations under may be takon as a fair average of values. Wheat— Prime Tusoan, 3s 6£d to 8a 7d; pearl and Hunter's, 3s fid to 3s Gd. Chickwheat, whole 3s ; broken, 2s 3d to 2s 9d. Oats— Milling, 2s 8d; short feed, 2a to 2s Id. Tartars and inferior, la 8d to Is lOd. Barlet— Malting, dig to 4s 4d ; seed paroels, 4s 8d to 4s 0(1. Beaks and Pjcab, the formei 2s 9d to 2s lOd, and the latter 2a Od with enquiries for true Bamples for seed at 2s 9d. Grass Sked.— Oookafoot ia m moderate request for Bowing, B£d to 3jjd being about the top price for machine dressed ; farmers' paroels, 2% d to 3d, Byegrass quiet at 2s 9d to 8o 3d for maohine dressed, and Is 9d to 2« 8d for farmers' lots.
Potatoes. — A fair demand has been ex. perienoed for seoond quality at 47b 6d to 50a at country stations. Saoka extra.
Dairy Pboduoe. — Batter at present ia an* quotable, buyers^ not feeling disposed to risk muoh so early m the season ; cheese is firm at BJd to 4d. The above prioes are those paid to farmers for delivery, f.o.b. Sacks extra.
