EMPEROR FREDERICK'S DIARY.
[PKR PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Berlin, September 27. Prince Bismarck has determined to prosecute the publishers of extracts from the Emperor Frederick's diary on a charge of revealing secrets. The " Review," which is publishing the late Emperor's^ diary ? _has been directed to stop its circulation. T?ublic opinion is divided and excited ovsr the publication and its consequent revelations. It is rumored that a portion of the diary bearing on the war of 1866 ' j will appear shortly.
Prince Bismarck declares that the Emperor Frederick was not permitted to take part m the political discussions m 1870, as his father feared he was indiscreet, and would make disclosures to the English Court. He cites instances of inaccurate entries m the Emperor Frederick's diary, extracts from which Prince Bismarck asserts were published m the interests of a revolution.
