The last named young lady on this ccoaslon saug for the first time m public and may be congratulated on the possession of a voice of muoh sweetness and purity. Mr W. T. Potter contributed a reoltatton "Mosjb' mother-in-law," the elocutionary renderIng of which wan very good, though tbe piece itself was and in jadlolous selection, being uonrcoly appropriate to the oooaslon. MrH. Gatea gave a vory clever and amusing local song, the humorous .end witty allusions of which, to recent publics events, wore highly appreciated, During the evening oiffae, tea. cake, etc, were liberally provided, and after. the Interval, the Rev Mr Soott took the opportunity to thank the parlahimera m very feeling terms for the handsome presentation (of * ba ßgy) recently made to himself and Mrs fcoott. The singing of the National At them closed an exceedingly eu j lyable evening.
