Information received from Central Africa states that Jameson, who succeeded Major Barttelot, m command of the relief party, died from fever at Bangala on August 7th. Major Barttelot, m a letter written before his death, expressed distrust of the chief Tippoo Tib, and newß now ieceived from the Congo confirms the report of his treachery, The general opinion m Central Africa is that it will be impossible to send any fresh aid to Stanley by way of the Congo. London, September 22. The German expedition for the relief ( of Emm Bey hope 3to leave Zanzibar m January next. "The Times" urges the British East African Company to take steps to forestall it.
