' The Canadian Ministers will shortly - interview the Marquis of Salisbury, t requesting the Imperial Government to subsidise the Dominion railways, on the grounds that their extension is part of the defence scheme. London, September 13 Lord Ham's, speaking at Gaermarthen, said British relations with China and America were causing uneasiness, and although he would deplore a quarrel with America, yet every Englishman requires that British colonies shall not be down-trodden, overruled, or illtreated by their neighbors.
