A Volunteer Case. liMABU, September 11 « At the R.M. Court this morning a livery stable keeper sued the captain of the O Battery for 30s, hire of two horses nsed by non commissioned officers on the Prinoe of Wales birthday, 1886. The latter had declined to pay on the gronnd they were told by the superior officers to get horses and they expected tbe company to pay. Plaintiff said he had been referred first to one and then to another for payment. He was nonsuited. The defendant said tbe battery had paid for draught hpraes bat never so far as he knew for npn< commissioned officers monnti.
