THE MINERS' STRIKE.
MELEE WITH LABORERS.
(PKB PRESS ASSOCIATION.) (Received September 11, 12 10 p.m ) Newcastle, September 11. The laborers who went to work at Greta coal mine this morning to replace the men out on strike met with a warm reception at the hands of the : miners, who assembled in force at the mouth of the pit. The laborers were justled by the strikers. Stones were freely used iri the melee which e,nsued, One laborer was seriously injured by a stone. .
