THE BRITISH ASSOCIATION.
The British Association for the Advancement of Science has commenced its sittings m Bath. Sir F. J. Bramwell, m his "opening address, severely criticised the adverse comments made by a certain section of the Press on the work of the Association, especially a statement made m "Truth." He refetred to the large amount of work 1 accomplished by the Association m the cause of science.
