LATE NAVAL MANŒUVRES.
Lord Chas. Beresford declares that the recent naval manoeuvres df the British Navy prove that the present system adopted for training officer* and men is non-suited to modern warships and engineering appliances* He also considers that the manoeuvre* showed the necessity of .a large scheme of coastal defence by means of volunteers.
