COLLISION ON A FRENCH RAILWAY.

Paris, Saptember 6. Lady Bowen was a passenger by the express train which met with the accident at Dijon. She was slightly injured. Her daughter, Miss Agnes Zoe Bowen, was also a passenger but escaped unhurt. (Reoeived September 8, 1 p.m.) London, September 6. The Australian mails which were on board the Italian express that came into collision aear Dijon will be delivered on Friday. ■
Dijon is probably the most important station on the direot route between Paris and Geneva on the road to Switzerland and Italy. The Paris express travels from Patis to Geneva, vU Dijon and Maoon, a distance of 388£ miles, Id fifteen hours. The railway divides at Dijon, bo that yon can either continue your journey by way of Macon to Geneva, or via Pontarher to Berne. There wonlo probably still be a good deal of tourlit traffio on the line.
