New Zealand mutton has experienced a decline, and is now quoted at 4|d. The American visible supply of wheat is 29£ million bushels. The quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,952,000 quarters ; for the Continent 628,000 quarters. Sydney, September 6. Maize is firm at 3s Id. Oats, feed sorts, 2s 4d ; milling, 2s 6d ; bran, Is 2d to Is 3d. The market is excited. Pollard, Is 2d ; potatoes, New Zealand kinds, 90s ; Ballarat, 80s ; onions, Victorian, £7 10s to £8; New Zealand, £6 to £7 ; wheat, chick, 2s 9d to 2s lid; best cheese; 7d to 7£d ; New Zealand bacon, 9d to 9£d ; butter, best local, Is 9d ; imported, Is 4d to Is 6d.
