SroNßr, August 28 It is stated that during the voyage of H.M.S, Orlando, the new flagship of the Australian Squadron, her con' densers worked unsatisfactorily, and the crew were put on short allowance of water ; also, that the ventilation of the ship proved defective, occasioning much sickness. The firms of Goldsbrough and Co.* Limited, and T. S. Mort, wool brokers, have amalgamated, and their capital has been increased by .£3,000,000.
