New Zealand wheat ib m small supply and rates are steady, tip to 33s per quarter having been secured for a paroel of shortberry. Flour has been plentiful at about late rates. In barley a steady trade has been done but values are unohanged. Oatß were m large supply and met with little enquiry, but latterly a strong demand has set m and ptices are firm with a rising tendency. Russian descriptions are dearer on higher prices from St. Petersburg. In beans and peas there has been little or nothing doing. Cooksfoot has been dull and inactive, and with large arrivals buyers, both here and on the Continent, have held aloof on the chance of a decline m value later on.
