LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
Wednesday, August 22. In reference to the Middle Island Native c'nims, the Legislative Council Committee have been unable to complete their work, which is deferred till next session. In addition to some first readings, the Council paised the Auckland Hospitals Reserves BilL and agreed to rescind the Cm tie Quarantine Regulations with regard to stvck^fcom Aostralia and Tasmania.
