At a meeting of the Preabytery to-day, a letter was read from Professor Salmond, In whJoh he stated that no new edition of hia pamphlet would be issued, and he had ceased to have a desire to laane it, as his views were mlßnnderßtood, A motion waß carried that as Professor Salmond hid Implemented the resolutions of Presbytery consideration of the matter should now terminate: Another case was brought up In the form of an appeal from the First Ohuroh session, where attention had been drawn to a speech of Mr Keith Ramsay dating a recent meeting of the Presbytery. Mr Rams&y had been asked to say If the report of his speech was correct, and, If so, bow he considered It consistent to be en elder of the Ohnroh while holding suoh views. The Presbytery passed a resolution that It wbb undesirable to proceed farther m the matter, the general opinion being that they should cease hunting round to prove eaoh other guilty of this or that heresy.
