The following races were deoided after we went to press yesterday: —

Maiden| Steeplechase Plate, of 15 soys j the second horse to receive 3 soys from the stake. Pitohford led Fox and Jonathan Roberts over the double m front of the stand by about a couplo of dozen lengths. At the sod wall Jonathan Robert's rider came off and Jonathan was never dangerous m the raoe afterwards. Pitohford led over the water jamp and until near the home turn where Fox went to the front. Fox looked like winning but stumbled ' at the last fence, allowing Pitohford to again assume the lead, which he maintained daring ' ths remainder of the raoe, winning by about four lengths. Passing the stand the first time, Nero was leading, Lord Burleigh second, the others m a bunch a short distance to the rear. Going round the back of the course, Pioannini went up to the leader, and Moss Ross who had been lying at the last improved her position and ran into seoond place. SNear the top turn Moss Rose was leading. Entering the'straight Squib Went up to the front, and Lord Burleigh passed Moss Rose, the grey mare winning a good race by a olear length from Lord Burleigh. Dividend— £3 15s.

Selling Hunters' Steeplechase Handicap, of 10 soys ; winner to be sold by auction immediately after the race for 15 soys, any surplus to go to the funds ol the Club. Comgan's blk g Jonathan Koberts, aged, list lib (including over Owner) Blackbird got the lead, followed by Captain Two of the horses baulked at the sod fence, but a dense fog which had overspread the course prevented it being seen from the stand whioh they were, and from thence but little of the raoe oould be seen. Blackbird ame home an easy winner, having at least 100 yards to spare, and a greater diatanoe separating the second and third horses. Dividend— £1 13s.
