The Couocil met at 2.30 p m. THE SHEEP DEPARTMENT
The Joint Committee on the working of the Sheep Department reported that the department had utterly failed m its fanctioDß. Tho report recommended that the head office be removed from Wellington, aod that the colony be divided into blx dlatriotß, each having a responsible inspector.
The Council rose at 5 p m
