Wellington, July 28. The Mining Aot Amendment Bill whioh was pushed through the House m the a v seiice of Mr Seddon Is being blocked lo the Oonnci l , the pTinoipal offender being Mr Tilaroa. He has given notloe of several amendments when the Bill gets Into Committee on Tuesday, which refer principally to the effect of the Bill on NaM've Landi.
Mr Seddon is dissatisfied with the procrpsa m repard to Chinese matters and Is enquiring if the Government will this seFsion introduoe another BUI havfog for Its object prpvnrtfon of Chinese oomlng to Now Zealand m largi numbers, and if the answer be m the affirmative and the Qouseof Representatives piss the Bill, wll ihe Premier include the Bill m the Appropriation Act
