A DESERTED VESSEL
(f^e pbess association.) Sydney, July 16. The captain of the ship Frank Stafford, which arrived to-day from New York, reports having passed the W. L« White, a schooner, bound from New York to Mexico. The latter vessel was dismasted, and from an ex? animation made it was found that she wa i timber laden, and having suffered severely m the gale had been abandoned by the crew early m March. There was no sign of the crew*
