The Australian Eleven went first to the wickets, and were all disposed of for 119. Jarvis made 27, Trott 25, | Worrall 15, and Turner 14. Smith secured four wickets lor 3^ runs, and Steel three for 34. In their first innings Liverpool made 70— Th'omby, 18; Steel, isj Jones, ;i. WorraU got =; wickets for 20, Turner 3 for 40,. Tbe Australian Eleven's second innings closed for 150—Bonnor, 46; Bannerman, 18; Trott, 12; Turner, 12 ; Worrall (not oui), 19. Richardson took 7 wickets for 46. The Liverpool second innings closed for 6p — H. Steele, 31 ; v. Turner got £ wickets for 36, Worrall 3 for 3c?..
