Stive'ey (for New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company Limlted) reports on Aahburton sale at 10th inst: — Owing to wet weather both entries and attendance were limited, only some 1500 Bhcep being yarded. Business wh'oh was qa'et, was conducted under difficulties. Forward crossbred wethers made 10a 10.1; mixed ages dry ewes, 63 91 ; mixed young crossbreda, 83 and 9) lid ; sound mouth merino ewes In lamb, s>; mixed young msrlnos, 4s 8d; oroasbred ewes m lamb, 8a sd. Cattle also very dull.
