HORSE MARKET
Mr T. Bullock reports for the week ending Saturday" July 7th :— 27 horses were brought forward for the day's Bale. There was a very good attendance of formers and other country settlers, but biddingajon the whole were languid and only those of an inferior stamp changed hands. ( -ut of the entry of 27, 14 were sold aa follows, viz, light draught 4 years £13 ; aged, £6 10a, £6 10a, £7 ; inferior, £4 to £5 ; light harness horses, £4, £6 10a ; hacks, a number changed hands from £1 5s up to £4 10a, according to description. Sundries, 3 furrow plough, £9 5a ; droy, £8 5s ; a quantity of new and second hand' harness, horse covers, fruit trees, etc., at market rates.
