(Received July 6, 12 40 pm.j THE CHINESE QUESTION. Sydney, July 6. Twenty-one firemen and trimmers proceed by the Alaraeda to 'Frisco at the expense of the Maritime Labor Union to replace the Chinese crew. Advices received from Hong Kong state that m consequence of the loss to steamship owners, arising from the stoppage of Chinese passenger traffic, freights will be raised by five shillings per ton. A further rise of five shillings I is expected shortly.
