In the match against the Australian Eleven, at Bradford, the Yorkshire men made 228 m their first innings, being 139 lees than theaoore of their opponents. The Yorkablre men followed on, and at the close of the day's play had lost one wicket for 34. Twelve thousand spectators were present during the day's play.
