WRECK OF THE GERDA.
(PER PRESS ASSOO'ATION. ) Grbymotjth, Juno 23. The steamer Garda, iv coming m at en f early hoar this evening, empty, from Lyttolton, encountered a very heavy Bea outside the bar, and was thrown on the North Breakwater. Her back la broken, ! and the funnel is gone, und the mast has * disappeared. She lies helpless, Considerable damage waa done to the etag'ng of the breakwater. Several rowa of plica wore injured, and tho derrick Is gone. The crew landed safely with all their eff ofs.
