London, Janet 22. The cricket match between the Australian Eleven and M.G.O. and Ground vm resumed to-day. The wicket was sticky aftor the recent wet weather. In their second innings the Australians were all disposed of for 96, Trott playing a fine Innmga for 45. The other principal scorers were Bonnor 24, and Ferris 10. Both Barnes and Attewell secured three wicketa. The Matylebone Eleven started their second innings, wanting 125 runs to win* When stumps were drawn for the day they had lost seven wicketa for IQI runs The principal scorers were : — Steel, 22 ; Key, 18 ; Gann, 17 ; and Flowers, 13 Turner was dead on the wioket, and five of the batsmen fell to his credit. London, Jane 23. There was great excitement towards the finish of the cricket match between the Australians and M.O.d. and Ground. When the latter resumed their second innings to-day they required 23 rum to grot to win, and had three wickets to fall. The bowling of the visitors was, however, too good, and the remaining wicketa only added 9 runs, the innings closing for 110, leaving the Australians victors by 14 runs. Tnrner secured bix wickets for 52 runs, and Woirall two for 9.
