CHRISTCHURCH STREET ROWS
At the ChrUtoharoh R.M, Court yerterday & number of young men were brought before the Ooart on a oharge of disorderly conduct m the street on the night of Jane 2nd, when they resisted an attempt by the polloe to arreßt a drunken and disorderly man. The ' ' Telegraph " says : — lt was shown that there had been a moat disgraceful and cowardly attack on a single man, who, from the midst of a crowd of 400 or 600 people received no helping hand, with the exoeption of one person who interfered towards the fetter part of the agt»r. Most bf the orowd were of that claaa of idle young men who infest the streets of the olty after dark, who, m this instance, formed a most dangerous combination, and bahaved'lna brutal and disgusting manner.
